Ogunquit to Boston Logan Travel Time

Hi,
I will be staying in Ogunquit for my final night of an upcoming trip . I need to be at Logan airport by 11 am the following day. Google maps indicates a travel time of 1.5 hours, but I'm looking for a reality check. Does that seem realistic? I've read other threads that talk about congestion in this area, so I want to get thoughts on what time I should really hit the road to get to the airport on time. Thanks very much.

When are you driving? The day of the week makes a difference and before or after Labor Day?

I would allow 2 hours to drive to Boston, plus time to return your rental car if you have one, and the amount of time you need to arrive before your flight. So that's at least 3 1/2 hours to allow which puts you in the middle of rush hour. Leave earlier than needed and have breakfast or an early lunch at the airport.

Oops, I meant to include that it will be a Tuesday morning, Sept. 16.

You need to be at Logan by 11 AM or your flight is at 11 AM. It matters.

If you need to be at the terminal by 11am, then leaving Ogunquit around 9 am should work. If you wanted some safety margin, leave at 8:30. You should avoid the worst of rush hour with either departure time.

I would allow two hours at least .

Flight is at 1:10.
Thanks cw, travelgourmet, jubilada.

That's a good time. You'll be arriving in Boston after rush hour.

Agree that 2 hours would be a reasonable amount of time. If you are worried about unforeseen delays...add a half hour.

Flight at 1:10 means at the terminal by noon in Boston. I'd leave at 9:30.

Thanks for the additional input. I leave in two weeks, can't wait!
