Ogunquit Maine lodging
I am wondering if anyone has any information on the Hartwell Inn or the Inn at Tanglewood. I am afraid they are two of the only properties available the weekend I am planning on traveling. Any input would be wonderful!
Thanks,
JennS

Except for the 4th of July, I can't imaging all of Ogunqui being sold out. Are you looking only at small inns? Don't know those two!
Did you try the Puffin Inn?

HartwellHouse was very nice when I went a couple of years ago. It is an Inn located in 2 buildings (across the street from each other) rather than a tiny b&B--there must be close to 20 rooms in total. The rooms I saw in addition to mine(all in the main building) were lovely--very clean, well decorated, reasonably spacious. I think the other buildings have rooms decorated in what consider "more modern" style (whatever that means) and there might be meeting/conference rooms there too . I found the location, very easy walking distance to Perkins Cove ideal--it's not a quiet road though,(are there any in Ogunquit anyway?)The inn keepers have changed since I was there, but the staff was friendly and the breakfast and afternoon snacks (tea, cakes and cookies--at least in the summer) very nice. It really is a quality place.

Did you try Terrace by the Sea -- stayed there recently -- very clean - great location - big rooms.....great view -- right in town .....

Here's another recommendation for Terrace by the Sea. Try for Room #1, but all are fine. We LOVED that place! (And, booked impromptu.)

You could try looking for other available accommodaton at the Maine Innkeepers Association website at maineinns.com. Lots and lots of info on Maine accommodations, including lots of Qgunquit accommodations. I would give it a try.
