Off to Oahu
 

Family of 5 off to Oahu, staying at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. Has anyone had experience with their Kids Club?
Also how does the Lagoon tower (timeshare) compare to the regular rooms in the other towers?
And best to rent a car at the airport or hotel.

Several of my visiting friends have liked their Kids Club.

If there are five of you, I'd rent the car at the airport and save the cost of a taxi or shuttle into Waikiki.

Book your car before you go (we used Alamo as that had the best rate when we checked)and pick up/drop off at airport.
It's usually cheaper to book via the website and hopefully means the car will be available and expediates pickup.

We used Enterprise online and booked a SUV at a reasonable rate. We did have to pick the Airport location to get the deal. Hope this helps. Have a great trip!

I'm not sure we will need a car for 2 weeks, We plan some real down days around the pool or at the beach.
Maybe it's best to rent for a few days somewhere in the middle of the holiday and go see some of the island.

Also has anyone heard of a open market (not the International marketplace) located somewhere by pearl harbour?
