Off Season on the Cape- Where to go!?

Hi,
I'm planning on spending two nights with my boyfriend on the cape in two weeks. We're having trouble deciding where to stay/what areas. We know Woods Hole and Falmouth pretty well but wanted to try somewhere else. We're looking for a cozy place to stay that is under $120 and is near by some restaurants, shops, bars (walking distance... we'll have a car but after a bottle of wine its just not safe!!!) Does anyone have town preferences? Barnstable, Yarmouth, even Nantucket....??? Any suggestions?
Thanks!

to clarify: I really need input on areas to stay rather than specific places.

I would recommend in Yarmouth or Hyannisport. Lots of restaurants / shops. Not sure about walking distance though

How about Ptown?

Chatham is fabulous for dining and shopping. Hyannis likewise, and a bit more economical all around. Both have plenty of lodging with much within walking distance.

Great time to go to Nantucket for off season rates, but seasonal dining and shopping will be closed. Still, there's plenty open.
