Ode to the Dinner Mint
 

And now, by way of limerick, here's my last word on the subject...

There once was this thread about dinner mints
Put up by a Kauai itinerant
She was known as just Margot,
Looked for no "Mint Embargo"
Just wanted feedback from all sorts of Fodor tints

Well, the feedback came quite fast and furious
From Fodorites who were clearly most curious
'Twas an active debate
Thoughtfully done without hate
And the points made were clearly not spurious!

And so, on this subject I end
I thank all you dear Fodor Friends
There'll be no more retorts,
Just my Kauai Trip Report
Filled with all sorts of wisdom to lend!

But what is the embargo about? Both of the threads appear to be "postable."

I think Patrick is referring to the original thread ("After-Dinner Mints at Kauai Pasta - please comment"), in which one was unable to post a reply after a previous poster had given a long link to a web address - apparently, this is not the first time something like this has happened...
