Ocean Key House

Does anyone know anything about the Ocean Key House. I'm looking for some reviews and thoughts of it.

If you're talking about the Ocean Key House in Key West (it's now called Ocean Key Resort, I believe) it's wonderful! It was bought and renovated several years ago by Noble House, the owner/operators of Little Palm Island. I'd advise you to get an waterfront room rather than one with just a water view. When we stayed there we had a wonderful suite, but our balcony overlooked the pool/bar bathroom! In any event, the location is excellent and it's really a nice place to stay.

I've stayed there several times and it's one of the nicest places in Key West. Great location, long deck with tiki bar and live music in the harbor, overlooks Mallory Square where the sunset activities are held. If you want to be on the water, this place is in the top 3 in my book.

We stayed there last summer and I can't say enough good about the place. We had a junior suite with a big jacuzzi tub. It was so hot that we hung around the pool most of the time. The staff brought out cool towels and sorbet to help cool you off. The staff is wonderful! The location is great! Gee, can you tell that I really liked the place?

We have stayed at the Ocean Key Resort twice. It was fabulous both times. I do recommend a room overlooking the ocean. We were initially put into a room overlooking a roof top. After complaining, they moved us to a great room overlooking the Ocean. I just got a great deal on a web site called luxurylink.com. You have to bid on the package (with some black out dates listed) However, I've called Ocean Key and requested 3 different times and they have all been available. We have confirmed to go over Memorial Day Week-end. Good Luck.

Just so you don't expect ocean waves out your window, I thought I'd mention that Ocean Key does not overlook the ocean, it overlooks the harbor and some of the bay.
