oc hotel pools
 

Our family -Mom, Dad ,two teenagers- are going to oc this summer and we are looking for a nice hotel on or near the boardwalk. We spend alot of time at pools so I am looking for a big pool with a snack bar or one that might be special. Any ideas? Thanks.

OC - Is this Orange County in California? If so, you're not going to find a boardwalk.

Kam,<BR><BR>We always stay at the Quality Inn Boardwalk. It's right on the boardwalk at 17th Street, a great location. It has two outdoor pools and a small poolside snack bar. It also has a small indoor pool. The oceanfront rooms are the best, with two queen size beds, a sleep sofa, a tv/vcr combo, three phones, and a small kitchen with dishwasher, table and chairs, and all utensils/dinnerware. Go to www.ocmdhotels.com/qiboardwalk. A new Holiday Inn Boardwalk opened up next door to the Quality Inn Boardwalk last year. Though we haven't stayed there, it looks wonderful. It has a huge pool, and the rooms have jacuzzis, but it's more expensive.

I hope you booked already - rooms run out very quickly. If you can get a condo. The GoldenSands is great. It is right on the beach and has a huge pool with a baby pool and a bar. It is nice to stay on the Boardwalk but Ocean City's public transportation is cheap and reliable and staying off the boards is generally a little quieter! Have fun!
