Obstructed view for "o"

I'm trying to book a show date for "O" at the Bellagio and they only have "obstructed" seats available. Is it worth it or should I hold off until next time?

The question I would have to ask myself is, "Do I want to see the show or just hear it?"

I had an "obstructed seat" and all it was is a horizontal hand railbar that runs across the front of the balcony. It is no way impaired our view. You can lean forward a bit and you look right over it. It is not even at eye level, it's lower. It wasn't like a big pole or anything you can't see through.

Someone, I think here, mentioned that their "obstructed view" seats were way in the back and to the side, and what they couldn't see were the performers high up -- just before the would dive. As a result they missed a lot -- not aware someone was about to dive and looking the wrong way until a splash hit the water.
I didn't think the seats behind the low rails were sold as "obstructed view".

Hi Patrick,
We were actually in the balcony very high up but in the first row right in front. When the first girl comes down from the ceiling, we are looking level at her....You can see the underwater stage great, but you are farther back. But we were in the middle, not on the sides...I guess they have obstructed ones in all parts, I thought it was just the kind of seat I was in as I didn't see any other problem areas I thought...:-)

thanks for the reply's. I went ahead and bought tickets for Mystere instead. Is Mystere a good show? Better then "O"?

Both are good, but in my opinion O is much more impressive. It has similar effects and staging except that the entire thing is in, on, below, or above water which makes it much more fantastic.
