oahu night life
 

hello, this is my first trip to hawaii and i am very excited. normally we go to aruba. i know hawaii is a little more laid back and doesn't have casino's bue i was wondering what most people do for night life? any good suggestions?

Do you like clubbing? Zanzabar is a good one. It's located in the Waikiki Trade Center, 2255 Kuhio Avenue. I think Tuesdays at Oceans (Restaurant Row) is also happening.

How is the dress code for clubs in HI? I'm visiting Maui and Oahu for the first time next month and of course as a girl, I'm troubling over what to pack!

I like going out in what I look good in. I don't see many people in Italian clothing in Hawaii save for some Japanese tourist so I always feel cutting edge fashionable, I am not BTW. Is it necessary? no. People do get dressed up at clubs but I feel that in Waikiki you do get a lot of stares if you are nicely dressed. Don't want to give you the impression that it is all sneakers and tea shirts well in some tourist areas it can be. I have been in bars in Waikiki where you see this. I would go to a club that local professionals frequent. I forget where they are so anyone familiar feel free to chime in. <BR><BR>Halikilani, Kahala Mandarin for Jazz on Friday evenings.
