Oahu lodging

Does anyone know of a hotel/motel in Honolulu area for about $50/night? Only staying one night in mid October.

Here's another on-line hotel reservation site that has even cheaper rates!
http://www.hotelonsale.com/hawaii/index.html

From what I've read on Travelocity message pages you won't be happy with the Waikiki Grand. Look it up & decide for yourself!

Have you thought of staying at the YMCA? Try www.centralymcahonolulu.org to see what they have. They are SO cheap, located right across Ala Moana Shopping Center and the beach. right on the bus line, too. I can't remember exactly, but I think you can stay there for under $30 a night and can use their workout facilities and everything. Very clean.

I used priceline.com to get a hotel in Waikiki for $50 per night last April. We stayed at the Sheraton Princess Kiulani and for the price, it was great. If you want to try bidding, check out this website first for some great information:
http://pub4.ezboard.com/bpricelineandexpediabidding
