Oahu hotel help PLEASE!!
 

Has anyone stayed ay the Queen Kapiolani Hotel <BR>in Honolulu recently? I am staying there with my kids in March and just want to make sure its a nice place. THANKS!!!

I have visited but not stayed and this was in mid ninties. I did not go in rooms but the lobby and pool looked run down. Did you check out ilikai condo rentals in main building. They all have kitchens and are very affordable. I am not sure if they can lodge you under a week but does not hurt to call. You always have a lanai, kitchen, small table for 4, airconditioning, two single beds and a pull out couch.<BR><BR> I know you wanted other info but I have entertained kids at the Ilikai 3 summers in row and we were pretty happy there on a budget.If you call the Ilikai and ask for the condo agency they can help you.

Mike-The Outrigger or Ohana hotels are much nicer if you are looking for budget properties.

Queen Kapiolani is a dump. Run down & old!

It can't be that great because I've seen it go on Priceline for $40 and less.
