Oahu hotel for last minute trip

Can anyone offer an opinion about any of these three places from Resort Quest: Waikiki Beach, Waikiki Sunset and Pacific Monarch? They seem to be the best choices that have availability for that week after Christmas for a last minute trip and I will probably pick one of them.

Most concerned about relative quiet, lanai big enough ti sit out on, refrigerator and/or small kitchen and a view would be nice. Don't care so much how close to the beach it is. Mahalo!

ResortQuest Waikiki Beach at 2750 Kalakaua Avenue? Take that one. Tiki's Bar & Grill is great for any meal, with a nice view.

If you want a condo, Resortquest Waikiki Sunset is decent. It is about 1 block form the beach. Don't know about the lanai though.

Resortquest Waikiki Beach Hotel is nice.

Waikiki is a strip about 2 miles long & 3-4 blocks wide. The beach runs the entire length. There are shops & restaurants located throughout Waikiki. So you will be within minutes of the beach & close to shops, restaurants no matter where you are.

Thanks for map link. Any travelers who have stayed at any of these?

Do those hotels have kitchen, frig, and a lanai? Seems like the hotel could answer those questions best. As far as view, do you mean of the ocean (this will likely cost more). Many hotels have "city view" rooms but that could mean a parking lot ofo the building next door.

I love Waikiki but don't know these specific hotels you ask about, sorry.

I've stayed at both Waikiki Sunset & Pacific Monarch. They're both about the same distance from the beach. I preferred Pacific Monarch because it has very large lanais. If you as for a higher up floor, you'll have an ocean view. Both properties have a small kitchen area - Waikiki Sunset's is a little larger. Waikiki Sunset is close to the zoo, but still quite quiet. Pacific Monarch is behind the Hyatt & quiet, especially if you're on a higher up floor.

i stayed at the Resort quest waikiki beach, and the lanai is decent. and large enough to relax(i had the oceanfront room) the refrigerator is small, and don't plan on trying to freeze, because it will not work. it was quiet, because we were 8 stories up. at night time, there is a live band usually until 10 or 11. if they are any good, its 12.
