NYC's Paramount Hotel

Just seeing if anyone had any thoughts on this hotel--I booked it through Priceline ($146 for the night, incl. taxes/fees) for the night of Aug. 12...the rooms, I know are microscopic, but good location in Times Square I think--nice lobby by the looks of it...Thanks much!

I think your description is right on. For that price these days in NYC, I'd take it and be happy. I love their little library bar.
Beware, I recall it is easy to miss. I don't even think there is a sign, unless it is a very, very tiny one.

I have stayed at the Paramount twice. Both times on Priceline bids. The first time the reservationist switched my daughter and I into a room with 2 beds which was great. The second time we were in a tiny 1 bed room.

The service was great both times. It is a great location and yes, you do have to look for it as there are no signs.

I just stayed there four nights in June and loved it! I had no control over which room I got because I was with a group, but my room was not microscopic, with a huge bed and space on three sides of it. The location is excellent for the theatre. My few interactions with the staff were perfectly pleasant. The lobby decor is worth the price of admission!

This a a bizarre hotel--I loved it, and I'm officially a 'senior citizen'! Go for it.
