NYC - When do the holidays end?

I am taking my mom for her visit to NYC from Jan 8-11th.

Will the 'holidays' have ended then, in terms of holiday lights, christmas trees, ice rinks etc?

Many thanks

The ice rink is open for the entire winter. As for the Christmas decorations, while I don't know the exact day, I suspect they are taken down shortly after New Years day.

Yes, all the decorations will be down by then. The skating rinks at Rock Center and in Central Park are open all winter.

But in some suburbs of Manhattan the lights are left up until spring LOL
We used to take drives into Westchester at the end of January and complete neighborhoods were still totally decorated. :)

As I think about the answer, I realize you might see some displays up until January 6th or so as the Feast of the Epiphany/Three Kings Day is very important in Eastern Orthodox religions and in some Latin cultures.

After that, I've got to believe the store windows are being reconfigured for the next event.
