WE 3 WOMEN ARE PLANNING A TRIP TO NEW YORK CITY 9-12 THRU 9-17. WE HAVE BEEN THERE 3 TIMES BEFORE & HAVE DONE MOST OF THE TOURIST THINGS. WE LOVE NEW YORK! ANYTHING NEW TO CHECK OUT? BUT, WHAT ABOUT OUR TIMING? SEPT 12, IS 1 YR & 1 DAY AFTER LAST YEARS TRAGEDY. ARE THERE GOING TO BE EVEN LARGER CROWDS AT GROUND ZERO? ANY IDEA IF THAT SIGNIFICANT DATE WILL ATTRACT MORE PEOPLE IN TOWN THAT WEEKEND? IS THERE ANY KIND OF MEMORIAL CEREMONY PLANNED AT THAT TIME? <BR>THANKS FOR YOUR RESPONSE

No worries there, cheryl. It really is too soon to know anything about memorial ceremonies or exactly what will happen, but there probably will be bigger than usual crowds no matter what they do. Stay tuned to this site -- there's no shortage of opinions about Ground Zero around here.

Well, we did sort of think you were yelling to get our attention, but sometimes that "caps lock" gets stuck in the ON position without our knowing about it.

I THINK YOU ARE BOUND TO RUN INTO TOURIST YES THERE IS THE ANNIVERSARY TO CONSIDER IT IS ALSO STILL WARM. PEOPLE COME FOR THAT REASON ALONE? AL I LOVED YOUR FIRST RESPONSE.THERE ARE ALWAYS CROWDS. SURE THERE WILL BE A CEREMONY WOULD NOT BE AT ALL SURPRISED IF THE PRES. IS IN TOWN. ONLY THING I COULD SEE KEEPING HIM WOULD BE SERVICES AT THE PENTAGON. OK ENOUGH OF THIS LOUD TALKING. WE ARE LOUD HERE CHERL BUT NOT THIS LOUD.
