Great trip report, Lizzie! You've inspired me to write my own (forthcoming) about my mother's quick visit over the holidays. :)

My curiosity is getting the best of me at your mention of Vosges. Aren't they based in Chicago? Were the gifts for your parents to bring back with them, or for friends here? I liked your trip report. In fact, I've read a lot of your postings and I think we have much in common! You even recommended South Moon Under on some other thread and I've shopped there online many times. I live in NYC too and used to live in Chicago we have lots to discuss! We should do a meet up if you want.

Also, where in the city can I play bumper pool?

Don't know how I missed this report, but I did and I loved it!

I'm glad you enjoyed it! I'm still recovering from post traumatic stress syndrome brought on by close proximity to parents :-)

I <i>SO</i> know what that's like. :-d But enjoy it while they're around and able to travel and visit. Mine are not able to come here any more and I really miss it.
