I have been told there is a retired NY cop (Gary Gorman)that runs tours through New York at night. Has anyone heard about this or been on it?

Thanks, Sam

SAm,
We did one of Gary's tours and it was excellent.
We did 'Visit WTC Walking Tour' and it was very well done. Gary is great and I wish I'd had the time to go on more of his tours.
If you go to www.imar.com and then go into 'unique tours and travels' and then you can do a search for NYPD24423 this will bring up all Gary's tours. BTW the WTC tour is listed at $240, which must be a mistake..we sure didn't spend that. I think we payed $20. If you click on this tour, you'll see that it's only $20.
I dind't book on line but called 212 239 1124 to book another tour and Gary's tour was then recommended to us as well as the other tour we wanted, and we were so glad they told us about Gary. I think you'd be very happy with his tours.
Hae fun.

Just to let you guys know. I emailed Imar 2 weeks ago about Gary's tour and have never heard anything back.

I'm going to call direct but was hoping to hear back by email....

HI Toni,
I hope you do decide to phone. I think that imar is a broker for the different tours... but still, it's too bad you haven't heard back from them. Try giving them a call. I think you will really find Gary's tours very good.
I took Gary's tour of the World Trade center. Very informative, and he was also very willing to help you in any other aspects of your NYC visit. I went to the imar.com website, and I ended up calling them where I spoke to a rep who was very helpful re: various tours they offer - which ones are most popular etc. Also, once I booked my trip, I was sent an email immediately giving me Gary's contact info including email address and cell phone. All email requests were responded to promptly. Enjoy!

Thanks so much for your information.

I'm going to call tomorrow and book the "late night tour". 5 hours and all 5 boroughs included which makes me happy.

My Grandmother was from Brooklyn and owned a brownstone on 454 W. 6th St. (I think that was the address) I want to go see it.
Thanks so much for all your support!!!

Our first trip to NYC and I am JAZZED!!!
