NYC Theatre

I have been assigned to find a play for my MIL and her sisters to see for their birthday. Every year they have gone into the city to see a play (most recently Kiss Me Kate).

Can anyone suggest a play for three 60-70 years young Irish ladies?
Proof; they'll love it...

How about 42nd Street or Thoroughly Modern Millie - both upbeat, great entertainment

Mornings at Seven! Estelle Parsons, Frances Sternhagen, Piper Laurie, Buck Henry, Christopher Lloyd - the most amazing cast. The story is about 4 sisters in their 70's who have never lived more than a block or so away from each other, and what happens to their relationships as they get older. Funny, touching, classic. Just got 7 Tony nominations. Get good seats and they will love this.

Throughly Modern Millie no question. If they liked Kiss Me Kate, they will love Millie. Most Tony nominated show this year with great cast and sets, lots of fun will leave them smiling. Extra bonus is the super comfortable theater at the Marriott Marquis. Oklahoma is long and heavy and the Producers may be a bit risque.

"Throughly Modern Millie" would be a perfect choice. Also, "42nd Street" is another one that they might enjoy.

I agree with Stephen and Serena - either Millie or 42nd Street (my favorite!!!)
