NYC temps/10/24-10/31

Hi everyone! I'm making my yearly trek to Mass this year, but am also planning on going to go back to NYC. This time, the last week in October.. what temperatures can I expect please? I went in Sept last year and it was warm..I also went in Dec..but, that's another story (33 degrees). thanks.

Probably in the 50's (but could vary wildly), crisp and sunny (hopefully!). Fall is the best season for NYC. I'm sure if you do a search for NYC weather or tourism on the web you'll get more exact meteorological data.

Yes, it certainly does vary--but it's usually only a few degrees warmer than it is in Massachusetts, if that's any guideline for you. If you're going to Yankee Stadium durting that time (If they're in the World Series) you're guaranteed to freeze.

I agree with bb. Temps will probably be in the 50's and maybe 5 degrees warmer than MA. Oct. is not winter jacket weather, but think layers just in case we hit a cold spell.

There may just as likely be a spot of Indian summer (70's or higher) during your visit. You just never know. Best bet is to find a ten-day forecast on the web (try CNN, USAToday, etc.) and check just before you pack and leave. Layers are definitely the way to go.
