NYC-Sat Noon-What to do for a couple hours right now near NBC/Rockefeller

Hi,

Just got a text message from DS. They have a tour at NBC for 4:00 today. Any suggestions for something cool/fun to do the next couple hours around Rockefeller Center?

Thanks!

Yes-- go to the Top of the Rock (Rockefeller Center) for beautiful views of NYC. You can usually find coupons being given out on the street, to save 20 percent or something. Otherwise I think it's about $17/per adult. You can stay up there as long as you want. Have fun!

P.S. There are Top of the Rock discount coupons you can download, if you have access to a printer. Just Google it.

maureen, do you have a website for the discount coupons for the top of the rock? When I googled it the only thing I got was as part of a package if staying at the Hilton.

Isabel, I found it at seasonofsavings.com, thanks to fodorite Tarheels.

Try this page
http://www.seasonofsavings.com/other_deals.html#

Scroll down the page and you'll see the coupon offered. Click on it and you'll get a printable coupon.

I just went there and it's still available to print out. Each coupon is for one person, so print as many as you need for everyone in your party.
