NYC - Rock Center
 

I am buying a bus trip into NYC Wed.11/30 for my 20 year old daughter and her boyfriend to see Christmas Spectacular. They arrive at Bryant Park at 10:30 am and have until 4:15 until the show. They leave NYC right after the show. I would like to get them a resy to eat lunch at Rockefeller Plaza and skate. When does the tree get lit? Any suggestions for a young couple?

I think it gets lit that night.

Great but expensive lunch would be either Rock Center Cafe or The Sea Grille. Both excellent and both in Rockefeller Center.

Bryant Park also has an ice rink. There is also a nice restaurant in Bryant Park and a cafe connected to the rink. When we were there the weather was nice and we bought lunch at a very nice deli and ate at one of the tables in the park.

And there are two ice rinks in Central Park I believe.

There is nothing like skating at Rock center.The Sea grill and cafe are wonderful.Make a reservation as all the restaurants in the area will be expensive.Alfredos is a trendy Italian rest across the street but the will not have the same experience there.
