NYC Pub Crawl
Need ideas for a pub crawl in NYC. Maybe the village?<BR><BR>Any ideas or thouights for a good neighborhhod?

village is of course great for bars, but look into upper east side. (70's-80's). great bars on 2nd and 3rd for late 20's or 30's crowd. have fun!

You might want to think about 2nd Avenue from about 54th to 48th. There are several Irish bars in the area (Thady Cons, Jameson's, etc.) and places such as Turtle Bay. <BR>

Yes, I agree with Ryan. There are some great bars on 2nd Avenue in the 40's and 50's, and then again south of 14th Street in the Village. There's also some newcomers on 9th Avenue between 42nd and 57th, and a few good ones in the West Village as well. While you're at it, don't forget the great tourist mecca, McSorleys, if for no other reason to say you were there. <BR><BR>Have a look at www.sheckys.com for info on specific bars, and pick up a copy of the book if you can. It's a vital source of info for dipsomaniacs everywhere.
