NYC Library Hotel
 
Has anyone stayed here recently--like in 2012 or 2013--not ten years ago. Opinion? Recommendation for other good hotel in the same general area (not to exceed max total of $500/night).

what time of year? - rates vary tremendously by date.

We stayed at the Library Hotel several years ago(not 10 years ago) and we loved the hotel and the location. We walked everywhere. The breakfast and evening wine was great. We paid about $400 a night-it was a splurge for us, but worth it. I think you will be very happy there.

Have a look at their other hotels too. The Giraffe and the Elysee are in more interesting locations imo.
