NYC in January, a trip report
My husband, college-age son, and I had a wonderful time in NYC this past weekend. We
stayed in a suite at the Broadway Inn on West 46th St. It suited us perfectly. Clean,
attractive, convenient location, very pleasant staff. Wed stay there again.

Heres a list of things we did (and enjoyed!):
Metropolitan Museum
Am. Museum of Natural History
Statue of Liberty
Strand Bookstore (East Village)
Neue Galerie (German & Austrian Art)
Broadway (Proof)

Restaurants we enjoyed:
Ess-a-bagel
Johns Pizzeria
City Bakery (sort of a pay-by the lb. place, everything there was good, esp. the grilled
vegetables, bread, and cookies)
Carnegie Deli
Café Sabarsky (IN the Neue Galerie. Wonderful Austrian food in a terrific room, we felt we had been transported to Vienna.)

Even though it snowed Saturday, it didnt get in our way, and Central Park looked
wonderful in the snow. We planning another trip up, though, when the weather is warmer.
