NYC Hotels for 3 Adults
 

I am planning a trip to NYC in (March, April, or May) with 2 of my girlfriends and we are hoping to stay in or as close as we can to Manhattan, Time Square. Looking for hotel options that meet the following needs:
- Large enough to accommodate 3 adults in 1 room or suite
- $400 or less per night
- Trendy, clean, any of the fun amenities.

Any recommendations are helpful. Thanks!

The Hampton Inn Times Square North is exactly what you describe... except the "trendy" part. The location you are looking for, big rooms for two beds for NYC, free breakfast, clean and can't be beat.

If you want "trendy" check to see the rates at the Muse for your dates. It may be more. If not, snag it!

This assumes that the 3 of you can share 2 double beds. If you need 3 separate beds you will have to get a suite.

Be aware that prices in March are likely qute a bit less than those in May - but March is still winter and snow/sleet still a definite possibility. In NYC trees leaf and grass turns green in late April/early May.

Not sure why you want Times square - if you are willing to look at other areas of Manhattan (which may be just as convenient depending on where you want to go/what see may be just as convenient.

Times Square is great for B;way shows - but major sights are all over the city - not just midtown. Many major museums are uptown and downtown is also worth a lot of time - but you need to tell us what you want to see.

ebony...check out the Hudson right now...they are having a sale. I wouldnt put too much emphasis on the general area if getting a good deal at a nice place is important. Whye I agree with nytraveler at the same time, you can move around so quickly on the subway or taxi.

sorry I meant to add that you can get a suite for under $400 right now with the winter sale at Morgan hotels

I love NYC and I love all of its neighborhoods (and have stayed in most of them) and I agree that the Times square AREA is a GREAT place to stay in the city. Don't get talked out of your first choice. The locals don't understand why tourists like to stay there. I am quite sure that will never change.

Hilton Garden Inn Times Square, 2 QUEEN beds. Staying there with girlfriends in March.

The Beacon Hotel, upper west side, has very nice suites w/kitchens and sitting areas. Great location. Not Times Square, though.
