NYC hotel room for three

Weekend trip to NYC to see Broadway Play on Sat.
Looking for a hotel room for three people close to Theater district.
Hope to keep price in the $300 range- maybe by using online discount sites?
Thank you!

Which weekend? Easter won't work. If 2 can share a bed, you can try Hotwire. But your best bet s to find a hotel with space for 3. Hotel at Times Square has some rooms with 2 queens or a 2 room suite with a queen and king bed. Radiocityapartments.com .and Nycsalisbury.com are budget suite hotels.

Thanks!
Date is 3/23
2 people sharing bed is fine- so we need at least 2 double beds.
Don't think we need apartment style as we are only there one night.

I would try Hotwire and only select hotels where you can specify bed type. To get an idea of what hotels come up for Hotwire in that area, and at what prices, look at www.betterbidding.com

Last minute bids are usually the best for New York, from what I understand. Several weeks ago when DD and I were planning a trip, the Westin Times Square was coming up quite a bit at just over $120 or so. We had drinks there in May and it seemed like a great location and a beautiful property--good luck! Which show are you seeing?

I recommend the Hampton Inn Times Square North. Big rooms, free breakfast, good location, near the theaters but not in the craziness of the brightly lit part of Times Square. I love the location and it's a nice hotel.

Staybridge Suites is $239-$259 plus tax for a double double. It's a steal on their own website. I see you're looking at Hotwire but that 4.5* is $347 PLUS tax. i'd grab the Staybridge. It's on their own website. I found it from a lonk on kayak.com

That Staybridge does look like a good deal. Some rooms, king suite (with a sofa bed?) are $199 plus taxes

PS you can get the Intercontinental TS for $369 plus tax without using Hotwire so I don't think it's such a great deal.

We stayed at Doubletree Suites right in Times Square---amazingly spacious for NYC--separate LR, but I am sure we paid more than $199....

Last summer, we got the Doubletree Suites on Times Square via Hotwire for $125. Don't know how that translates to March, but all the rooms have at least one bed and a sofa bed.

If you haven't booked yet and would prefer the Intercontinental Tiimes Squaer, it,s now $267 on Hotwire.
