NYC-Hotel on 6th/5th Ave
 

This year I'd like to stay at a hotel ON 6th avenue, closer to rock center. <BR>Is there a place online where I can specifically JUST try to locate the hotels all along 6th (or even 5th) avenue as opposed to going through ALL hotels? thanks.

There's a Hilton on 53rd Street and Sixth Avenue - just a couple of blocks away from Rockefeller Plaza.

What is the name of the Hilton on 53rd and 6th? Unable to locate anywhere online, even under Hilton Hotel Corp.

It's the New York Hilton, but I like the New York Renaissance on 7th and Broadway. It's much nicer and still a short walk to Rock. Center.

What is the cross street on both the Hilton and the Renaissance please?

The Hilton (whose official name was recently changed to the Hilton New York) is in 6th Avenue, spanning 53rd and 54th Streets. The Renaissance is at 48th Street and 7th Avenue. There are two others in the area: <BR>Sheraton New York at 7th Avenue, spanning 52nd and 53rd, and the Sheraton Manhattan, diagonally across the street on 7th Avenue, spanning 51st and 52nd.
