NYC Hotel Decision
Greetings. My friend and I will be visiting Manhattan in mid December to see the Rockettes and the magical Christmas season of New York. I'm trying to decide between the Lotte Palace, Lotte Tower, Warwick, or London NYC. The London NYC is a bit above our price range but would consider if hotel worth extra expense. I'm leaning towards the Lotte Tower due to size of room and nice city views (correct??) but friend and I are very laid back/casual and hotel appears to be a bit hoity toity. The Warwick is a couple of hundred less, great location, but room is smaller.
Thanks everyone.

I would pick the Lotte Tower above the London. For me, much better location.
Not as close to theatres but nicer area. (I live near there and pass it all the time; neither the clientele or the employees that I see look any more hoity toity than any other upscale NY hotel. Plenty of people arrive in jeans and sneakers.
NYC is casual in general. You will be a paying guest. As long as your clothing/behavior is not outlandish, no one is going to bat an eye.

The Lotte NY Palace is a luxury hotel in a convenient location (it's right by Rockefeller Center, so that has to be some consideration if you are really coming for the Rockettes, but it's also a very busy area during the Christmas season).
If you don't want luxury, stay at the Warwick. You'll be closer to Central Park and equidistant to most of Midtown, though it's a longer walk to Rockefeller Center. And the Warwick sits on top of a subway stop.
I certainly wouldn't pay more than the Lotte to stay at the London.
