NYC discounts on museums, theaters, restaurants, etc.

There are several different concurrent discount programs going on in NYC
If you're interested in any of the deals, make sure you check the others too. Sometimes there's a museum discount on one promo that's best for a single person where a different program might come out cheaper for 2 or more traveling together. Enjoy!

3 course lunches for $20.02, dinners for $30.02 at very popular fine restaurants. Reservations essential, and some places are likely to be booked up already

One thing that I learned on this forum is that the entrance fee for the Metropolitan Museum of Art is a "suggested" price. Since we are a family of four and just stayed an hour or so, this was a help to our pocketbook. Please, no comments we are cheap...we think our $20.00 contribution was justifiable.

Bill I give a buck on my "suggested contribution" jaunts. I pay NYC taxes and think this suffices admission. I don't make a lot of money either and I don't think the museum is really looking to exclude poorer people from a viewing.
