NYC - Carraige Rides Through Central Park

Does anyone have any information on the Carraige ride through Central Park? Cost? Is it worth it, etc? Please let me know.

The carriage ride through Central Park is very nice but can also be expensive. Pricing: $34 for the first 20 minutes and $54 for a 45 to 50 minute tour. The carriages are located on 5TH Avenue at Central Park South right across the street from the Plaza Hotel. In my opinion it is well worth since my experience lead to a proposal. is that per person? How many people could be in a carriage? 4? Thanks!

It's not per person, it's per ride. I think 4 people can fit into a carriage. The "game" is that the 20 minute tour is more like 15 minutes and the 45-50 minute tour is more like 35 minutes, but it's still enjoyable.

It was really sweet of DH to take me on the carriage ride on our first trip to NY...but I saw 4 $20s change hands (including the tip) and personally (and quietly) I didn't think it was worth it. I'm not very sentimental for a girl, though :-)
