NYC bus tours.....???????????
.........any good? I have found the bus tours of London & Paris fun, educational & a great way to get the "lay of the land", so to speak. Where do these tours go? Price? & any websites to visit? THANKS!!!

This company does tours in lots of cities - including New York; most of the NY buses are "hop on/hop off" tours but the evening tour does stay together as a group with a tour guide giving info at each stop. I have not done any of their tours but they sound good.
www.grayline.com

I took a lower Manhattan tour on a doubledecker Grayline bus on a beautiful, blue-sky day last September.

It was fabulous. I'm sorry I didn't do it sooner, and I will do it again.

Note: The fantastic weather had a lot to do with my enjoment because I was sitting in the open-air second deck.

I think the Grayline Hop on/Hop off tours in NYC are a must! I liked the uptown a ittle better, but the downtown is great. If I remember correctly, it was like $45.00 for a 2 day pass. Well worth every penny. I have never had a bad tour guide. The above poster is coorect also, a nice day makes the double decker trips even better!
