NYC Broadway Box

What do the asterisks (in place of seat nos.) mean?

Is Jersey Boys THAT good? I thought tix to JB would be a nice Christmas gift but then I looked at what's available. Then I started checking all available dates (for us - three of us). The prices were very high even though the seats were far back.

I'd bypass all brokers and go directly to Telecharge (800-432-7250 or telecharge.com). You couldn't do any worse and might do better, both in terms of price and seat locations.

Broadwaybox tickets for Jersey Boys are broker tickets. I don't know what the astericks mean. Agree with Howard, try going thru telecharge first. If that doesn't work out, try www.applause-tickets.com and also check on ebay.

There's probably some confusion about Broadwaybox.
If you're looking for discount tickets, then it's a good source.
However, it's a different ballgame when seeking full-price tickets. As mclaurie noted more pointedly than I did, they're ticket brokers, so you'll pay a broker's fee, which is higher than the service charges you face when using Telecharge or Ticketmaster.

Thanks very much. I checked and the prices are high, but the seat locations are better.

Broadwaybox.com itself isn't a ticket broker. But they've partnered with ticket brokers for sold-out shows like Jersey Boys and Wicked so that they get a cut of the tickets sold.

On principle, I *refuse* to buy from scalpers.
