I want to thank everyone for the advice so far. Great suggestions!

I am gathering from many sources that the hotel is in a Korean neighborhood (Little Korea or something). So does that mean there are good Korean BBQ places in the area?

I don't know if we'll squeeze in a real show or not. Maybe on Sunday for a matinée.... Something off-Broadway? So many possibilities!

32 st is considered Little Korea. According to Zagat, the best bbq place on that block is Kum Gang San 49 w 32 st. open 24/7.

Yes there is a wonderful buffet, just steps from your hotel on 32nd St and it's our favorite restaurant in the city, it's called Minado, and it's a seafood buffet and lunch is something like$14pp and dinner is $21pp, plus tax and tip.

It is about 50feet of food displayed hot and cold, salads, sushi, rolls, crag legs, salmon, chicken, lobster, you name it they serve it. All you can eat, and it is the best buffet I have ever been to.

Desert is also included. Drinks are refillable.

The restaurant is large and usually very busy.

Oh no now I'm hungry.

Oh and don't try to find a place to eat in Little Korea, that's the street you will be on.We had the worst meal of our lives one night in Little Korea. We decided to try a restaurant there one night on our way home, and still joke about just how bad the food was. It is also very busy all night long, so ask for an upper floor when you check in.

Have a GREA time while you are here.

rj, NYC isn't really known for their BBQ because of some weird fire code restrictions that prohibited NYC restaurants from cooking meat the way it is supposed to be cooked for real BBQ. However, that is changing and real BBQ joints are indeed opening in NYC.

Sunday Brunch: Blue Ribbon Bakery. It isn't a bakery but it has some of the best food I've ever eaten and late night Friday or Saturday, there is a 100% chance you'll run into the best chefs in New York eating there after their shifts.

I'm glad you have room. Priceline isn't getting any inexpensive inventory for Manhattan hotel rooms. Downtown is probably the best bargain if you want to consider that.

I got the Club Quarters on Wall Street in March for $90 per night and got it again for this August for $100 and it is excellent. A suite with a full kitchen and the hotel has a restaurant, business center, and gym.

I'm staying at the Manhattan Seaport Suites near Battery Park in Marathon Weekend for $199 per night. That is insane cheap for the busiest weekend of the year in NYC. They are in the process of finishing a total refirbishment for the hotel. I walked in off the street and booked this hotel and the renovations are amazing.
