If you have your heart set on an apartment rental, I understand that they are legal in New Jersey. This one says "Located in Jersey City, 3 minutes walk to the Journal Square PATH Station,10 mins. to NYC. Going to the City is fast, easy and closer than Upper Manhattan, Brooklyn & Queens. The metro called PATH in New Jersey works 24 hours a day, 4 minutes in rush hours, 10 min most of the rest of the day."

But PRLCH, please note that for the bulk of the next year, the PATH trains will NOT be operating from Jersey City on weekends. That adds a little complication.

Oh, and I'd be wary of that apartment -- it has a "walking closet" -- does that mean you'll be kept awake by a closet walking around your apartment at night? LOL

Also note that apartment is for two week minimums in May, June, November, and December.
