NYC Amazing Pizza in Theater District?
We will be going to see '12th Night' next month to celebrate a birthday... a group of 7 adults.
Birthday boy wants pizza... but need a place where we can sit down. Any suggestions for great pizza in the theater district, or an easy subway ride away? |
John's Pizzeria
260 West 44th St |
Try John's Pizza... fits your location-yummy pizza-seating requirements. Nice atmosphere and very reasonable for NYC!

Don Antonio's has an excellent reputation.
http://donantoniopizza.com/ I'm going next week so can give a first hand opinion then! |
fantastic... i checked out john's and it looks like a great space... and t.a. gives it really good reviews... we will plan for john's. (well.. unless the upcoming report on don antonio's is just too tempting )
thanks much for this, and saved me lots of time and fretting. |
thanks for the john's pizzeria recommendation... we did, indeed, go there and it was perfect. had a really big booth and the pizza was good... and the bianca-type pizza was memorable. i also liked that they served some very good salads family style... with the spinach being better than most. the price was really good for such a lovely room... all in, it was a perfect fit for the occasion. thanks much fodorites!

How did you enjoy Twelfth Night?
|
kind of you to ask, neopatrick... twelfth night.. oh my... it was a wonder! the best shakespeare production i think i've ever seen... and can't imagine it with female actors, because the cast was just perfect! it was just a great evening... and ended with snowy walk and a gathering for cake (from amys) at our hotel. love new york!!
