NYC - 4 Star Midtown East Hotwire Pick
 

I have never used Hotwire, but I am considering trying it for a NYC trip in Dec. If I choose a 4 star, Midtown East location, which hotel am I likely to be bidding on?

You don't bid at Hotwire, they just give you a price and you choose if you like it or not.

Hotwire doesn't tell you the name of the hotel until after your purchase. No refunds.

Sorry for my ignorance, didn't know that you don't bid on Hotwire, I thought it was similar to Priceline. <BR>I still would like to know from anyone who has used this site frequently for NYC hotels, what hotels would likely come up using 4 star, midtown East critera? I would feel a little more comfortable, if I had a good idea of what the choices were before excepting.

Don't know about 4 stars, but 4 1/2 stars midtown east consistently has been the Waldorf.
