staying at the team hotels is very disruptive to Your trip... elevators and lobbys are often closed, restaurants blocked and there's a lot of security to separate players from fans... team players stay in their rooms and have access to meeting rooms and banquet meals... In Miami, the Stadium is quite far from the fun hotels in the beach areas...
Trust me, I have been to several away games, and its no fun waiting an hour to get from your room to the lobby while the players wander down to the busses and security closes 9 out of the 10 elevators for the players...
Make your plans for a fun weekend in Miami away from the players, then drive over to the Hotel to watch them board the
bus if you must... or just settle for the game...
All you get when you stay at their hotel is a bad vacation...

I will echo that staying at the team hotel stinks. I used to work for an NFL team and traveled with them. The host city always found a way to pull the fire alarms to disrupt the sleep of the visiting team. It was expected, so we didnt always have to evacauate, but we sometimes did -- and we always heard them. Nothing fun about the team hotel.
