NY hotel for 4 separate sleepers
This is a bit difficult to search online...which hotel has suites that might accommodate two adults who don't want to sleep together and two teens who don't care. So maybe a queen bed, a sofabed and a cot. We had this at Rhiga Royal - but now the London NY looks like it has really hideously uncomfortable furnishings. Any ideas? Many thanks!

I don't get it cabo. Do the 2 adults not want to be in the same bed or the same room? The Affinia hotels have 1 & 2 bedrooms suites. Some of the bedrooms have 2 double or queen beds, most living rooms have a sofabed for 2. www.affinia.com
The Blakely has 1 bedroom suites with 2 beds in the bedroom (doubles I think) and a sofabed and maybe a daybed in the living room. blakelyhotelny.com

Sorry! And I was trying to be so clear. My daughter and I don't want to sleep in the same bed. My nieces will sleep in one bed if they have to. I appreciate your suggestions, Mclaurie, as always! A suite with more than one room - a living room, preferably - would be great. We will do adjoining hotel rooms if need be, though that is not first choice. We like to be able to hang out and relax sometimes.

Well those will work. There are a number of other suite hotels with 1 bedroom--separate living room and bedroom-- that also have 2 beds in the bedroom---the Embassy Suites downtown, the Doubletree Suites in Times Square, the Salisbury...

A few years ago we had some visting family groups stay at the Shelburne (an affinia hotel) in their 1 bedroom suites. They are quite roomy. Som come with 2 queens in the bedroom and a sofabed, others come with 1 king in the bedroom. A few years before that 3 adult visitors stayed in a suite at the avalon hotel, it aslo had a bedroom with 2 beds and a sofabed. I didn't see the room at the Avalon, but I did see the Shelburne, and I think there would definitely be enough room for a rollaway (if they have them). Their suites are very roomy, and have a kitchen and dining area.

Another possibility is the Murray Hill East suites, which used to be 1-bedroom apartments. They now have either a king or 2 double beds in the bedroom and a sofabed in the LR, and well-equipped kitchens.
