NY , cape cod, Nova Scotia

I and my husband will bre driving from ny to cape cod and then Nova Scotia in the middle of August for about 7-10 days. Any suggestions about where to stop beside Provincetown, Prince Edward and Cape Breton any ideas for good museums, scenery beaches or even resonable hotels.

i did not plan anything I just feel like driving up north to these areas

Thank you in advance for your advices

That is a lot of ground to cover in 10 days, especially since the ferries from Maine to Nova Scotia no longer run.

If you had more time, I would say that you should stop in Portsmouth, NH, Portland, ME, Rockland-Camden, ME, Mount Desert-Bar Harbor, ME, and Campobello Island, but that would mean dropping the Cape and especially Provincetown, which is something like 120 miles round trip from the Cape Bridges.

It is a 12hour drive from PEI to NYC, so that is a whole long day by itself.

Think about this.
