NY Airport Service
 

Hi there,

I am going to use the NY Airport Service to go from the airport to Penn Station. Question: Do I need to make a reservation? I notice a reservation section and think it is for departures, not arrivals.

Which airport? JFK or LG?

If you are going from JFK to Penn Station it is better to take the Air Train to Jamaica Station then take the LIRR to Penn Station. It is only $10 and is much faster than the bus.

I often take it from the airports to GCT and have never made a reservation.

Air Train is faster if you don;t have much luggage or don;t mind schlepping. If you have a coupe of bags and/or don;t want to deal with the luggage yourself the shuttle is a better choice. And no,, you don;t need a reservation.
