NW Montana vacation home rental?
 

We are planning a trip to NW Montana for next summer. We were fortunate enough to visit Montana many years ago, and fell in love with the area. Our planned trip to Glacier NP was cancelled due to severe snow...so we spent alot of time in the SW region.<BR><BR>This time, we'd like to be a bit closer to Glacier NP, perhaps in the Flathead area? We'd like to be within about an hours (closer is fine!) drive of the park.<BR><BR>We'd also like to rent a private home as opposed to camping or staying in a lodge/hotel/motel.<BR><BR>Has anyone taken a vacation in the area and rented a private home? We'd appreciate any recommendations!<BR><BR>We will be four adults requiring two bedrooms, love to hike, fish, admire the scenery. It would be wonderful to have a hot tub on the deck! Having entertainment, galleries, shops, touristy places nearby is not necessary as we are quiet people and would prefer an evening in front of a fireplace to any of the above.<BR><BR>Google searches have brought up zillions of homes for rent. Of course, all look lovely on-line. We'd appreciate some honest, first hand info/experiences/tips/advice.<BR><BR>Thanks for reading our post. Happy holiday and safe travels to all!!

We have used All Pro Rental for homes several times. They are very professional and easy to work with. We had homes on a lake and that was a wonderful addition to the vacation. Their web site is www.allprorental.net. They know the area and the homes well and can help you find the right one. Some of the others listed may do this as well but this is the only one I have personal experience with.<BR><BR>The Flathead Valley is beautiful and you will have a wonderful vacation there.

We stayed in a condo at Meadowlake Resort in Columbia Falls which is very close to Glacier Park. They also had beautiful private homes to rent. There is golfing, restaurants, swimming pools and tennis on site. We loved it there!
