This whole post is very funny and reminds of David Sedaris' essay on his time at a naturist resort. Very fun reading that I would recommend, whether you're considering a CO vacation or not.

wsox,

It wasnt necessary to go on record..since the chances of a nude GT are pretty slim.

Ps. As a card carrying nudist, at least I speak with some experience.

You can also pee on a jelly fish sting. This will help eliminate the sting. Well, it eliminates something. I wonder if that is one of the duties of the lifeguard.

In the Riverara Maya--Hidden Beach Resort-au natural. Nude or not for dinner. Also, Desire resort--clothing optional. People tended to dress for dinner. Both all inclusive and really nice. T his year we are going to Eden bay in dominican republic because of the damage of the hurricane. Desire had alot of overt sexual activity. Hidden Beach was truly just a socially nude resort.

Dick, if you are a nudist, then where do you carry your card? :-?

Getting back to the Hippie Hollow story where the boat tipped over--I live here in Austin and I remember that accident. The press immediately grabbed hold of that story and claimed that the boat tipped over because everyone was on one side, ogling the nudists. It's a great story, but not entirely true. Later they interviewed the passengers on the boat who said this the boat was already tipping one way, so they rushed to the other side to try to keep it from capsizing. It capsized anyway, but I am happy to say that nobody was hurt in that accident. This is partly because the people on the shore were very helpful in rescuing those who fell into the water.
