No nude beaches for me. Call me a prude. I guess I always have been. At 15, I went to Europe and the French beaches in Nice were topless. (I had a one piece suit). Oh well, I would not have gone topless anyway. I went on vacation at 20 and everyone skinny dipped in a lake. I wore my undewear and an undershirt. I was the only one who did not go nude and I was the youngest and thinnest, so I probably had the best bod.
Just not my cup of tea. I like to leave a little to the imagination and after all as I get older, I need to cover up to make the imagination hopefully even better! :)
I once saw a woman at virginia beach in a thong that weighed about 300 pounds..now that was gross. My daughter who was about 5 at the time mentioned that the lady did not have enough bathing suit. (And I was sucking it in! :)

To me nude beaches and skinny dipping in a lake or stream in the country are two VERY different things.

I went to one once. And it was weird mainly because some guy who I didn't know well took me there and he got naked. I didn't. But boy was I uncomfortable. I kept my eyes at eye level. Visually - TMI.

Good idea, kenav, but that got my dwarf friend in a whole lot of trouble. But that's OK, he always has his nose in other people's business.

Not a nude, but a topless beach in Nice in 76, as one of the Canadian students on an immersion trip. Most girls went topless, one that we all wished would, didn't.

I married her five years later, it was worth the wait.

I never was interested in nudism ever since I was bitten by a horsefly when I was a young child.

We have been to several nude beaches, Jamaica, Antigua, and Mexico, where it is illegal. I've never been uncomfortable, and have always had great experiences. The other nudists, first timers and all, were there to enjoy it for themselves, not to judge others. We've always encountered clothed people, most who've been very supportive, and some who openly wished they could join us, but family in the area wouldn't allow it. We've seen all shapes and sizes, and fall somewhere in the middle, but it didn't matter, they were enjoying themselves. We were never concerned about others seeing us because it you are going to be nude at a public, or private beach, what do you expect?? Nobody to look if you're naked? Great experiences at nude beaches. Why go to the beach if you can't get naked and enjoy it??

It was pretty good looking at the other people but then when I noticed some people looking at me I realized I was nude and my body is ....well. Nothing to be so proud of.

I accidentally ended up on a nude beach in Martinique with my 15 yr old daughter. It was quite entertaining but I used it as opportunity to explain to DD that not all cultures are as uptight about displaying their bodies as they are in the US.

There were all sorts of shapes, sizes and ages doing their thing- one older couple was playing in the water with what appeared to be their grandchildren- hard to imagine jumping around nude with my grandparents but they all seemed to be having a good time together.

Don't think its for me, but have no objection if others want to enjoy
