November in Florida Vero/Naples/Clearwater?
We are going to book something asap.
It's only myself, husband and ten month old baby. We want sun, water, beach and laid back. I think we are prepared to stay in and cook often. But, I know we will be looking for a good oyster bar or such for an early dinner a few days. We don't need a lot of entertainment. But, it would be nice to have options too. Is Vero a good choice for the beginning of November? Will it be warm enough to get in the water? Or do we need to look at Naples or that area more so? |
Also, I've been to Key West. Are the beaches around the other keys nicer? It seems like Key West has the most going on. I would love to hear what others think of the beaches and other keys.

I'd expect up to about a 10 degree difference in temps in Vero (or Clearwater) in November compared to Naples. But November can be a tricky month weather wise regardless.
The Keys really aren't about beaches generally. There are some bits and pieces of nice beaches on other keys though -- some nice ones on Islamorada for example. |
Well is it going to be warm in November in FL for a trip? Or should I be looking into Puerto Rico or the Bahamas?

The average high in Naples for Thanksgiving is generally in the 70's or low 80's. But there is no guarantee. I remember a year (early 1970s) that we practically froze on Thanksgiving. Last year we needed AC during dinner.
