Nov. weather in Vegas/Riviera ????s

What will the temps be in early November? Will the hotel pools be warm enuf for swimming? Also, any input on the rooms at the Riviera? Don't need luxury, just hoping for cleanliness and plumbing that works. Thanks.

Average high in Novemeber is 66 degrees.
Average low is 42.
11 days per month in November are over 70 degrees.
It's not swimming weather unless the pool is heated.

The Riviera is old and worn on the outside and in the public areas. Don't know about the rooms. This topic has come up before if you check the archives you'll find mixed reviews of the rooms, some OK, some disappointed.

I have stayed at the Riviera as well as other hotels on the strip. Though Riviera's lobby and casino were kinda dark/smoky/old, the rooms were very airy, bright, clean, and new-looking (there HAD to be a recent renovation). They were almost on par with the Monte Carlo and better than NYNY. I was shocked...especially since we got such a great rate ($250 pp for 3 nights including RT airfare from NY).

The pool area was also very nice. Nothing fancy, however, there was a nice grassy area near the pool (which is rare in LV) where we sat on lounge chairs for the better part of each morning...it was quiet, pleasant, and not crowded like pools at come of the other resorts.

Thanks for taking the time to reply to my "not so hot" topic. I'll bring a jacket, and probably leave the swimsuit at home. Will check out the archives.
