NOTICE: Unwanted posts on Hawaii Board
 

It has been reported that individuals on the Hawaii board have been posting abusive, harassing, objectionable and defamatory responses that are in violation of the conduct code. Therefore this board will be regularly monitored for such posts until a time such individuals are identified and removed permanently from this site

Really now Mike! How do we know that you are a Fodor's Representative since anybody could type in a Fodor's email address when posting a reply? I've viewed the Hawaii Board, specifically the Interisland thread, and notice that you have made an error in judgement with whom you claim are posting objectional remarks and such. Its ridiculous and you should be fired if you are legitimate Fodor's Representative! <BR> <BR>Helga

I agree with Helga. After reading the entire "Interisland Airfare Thread", I feel the wrong parties were being taken aim at!

"Mike Laney"'s posts smell like those of a troll to me. There have been some VERY rude and abusive exchanges on these forums in the past which were left to burn themselves out. The interisland flight posts are quite tame and there's no way the site monitors would attempt to cut someone's access for such comments. C'mon, "Mike". The details in your post give you away as a rather amateurish troll. Try harder.

As a kamaaina and avid traveler to other regions, I like to read Hawaii posts and contribute when I have something to offer based on my perspective as a fellow traveler. I would advise that it is best to deal with the airlines directly in matters of fares, coupons, etc. They all DO have 800#'s and web sites. Same regarding car rentals and hotel rates. While I do not question Lottie's/Tiare's motivation to help visitors to Hawaii nei and share information, it is important that we differentiate between advice from fellow travelers and advice from travel professionals, or others who may be participating in this forum to promote their own business or direct Fodorites to their own web sites. <BR>

Seems as though the recent posts regarding Hawaii is resurfacing. Here is what people thought of the imposter trying to rid other people from posting on the Hawaii Board. Obviously, no one agreed with the imposter.
