although, i’m not a fan of kintaros in wailua - we go because dh and my uncle are one of the many suppliers of ahi and ono, as soon as the owner or her son recognizes us, they’ll pull the tab from a newbee and revise. i still think they’ve changed over the years. there’s one place i have yet seen revealed here which is excellent, i mean too bad. then again, i like no waiting and no crowds, the owner is our next door neighbor and i think he likes it that way, too.

so, kauai_aka, can you just whisper it softly or talk in code or sign language for a little bitsy hint?

\:D/\:D/\:D/ ooooh ooooh oooh
I think I know!!! Never made it over there because Kintaros is within walking distance and never disappointed us. We go with locals who know the people, too. We are still kicking ourselves for turning down an invitation to Kintaros by Grace Guslander and her good friend and then Mgr at IOB, Lopaka. It was our 2nd/3rd trip over and Lopaka knew how much we loved the island and thought we'd love to learn dsome real island history. But stupid us thought she was a realtor and it was a time share presentation we were warned about Where was Google when yah needed it?.#-O |
Will the owner of the elusive restaurant joint be at our bbq when you roast fish for me at Polihale?
Still no dates set. Howzit dear aka? |
For great burgers, try Ono Charburger just outside of Anahola.

I2 and da gang, the place is bushidos. it's in the back behind jj's (nawiliwili-you have to go around abc), so it doesn't get a lot of exposure. ok, promise you won't tell.

Right on kauai_aka, totally agree from someone used to great Vancouver BC sushi.
