North Myrtle Beach vacation

We are going to try a blended family vacation to North Myrtle Beach next summer---I would love to hear about any great resorts or companies that rent beach houses that would be nice for 4 families----young 30's, small ones and babies, and ofcourse grandma and grandpa in late 50"s. Anyone tried VRBO for houses? Thanks for much!!! What are the best area to stay in?

Ocean Creek is a great place and they have townhouses, condos, houses some oceanfront and some not from studios to four bedrooms.

It is a 57 acre oceanfront resort.

GoT, is Ocean Creek new? Looks great.

No, I think it was developed in the 1980s if I remember correctly.

It is a great resort and it has a good cross of full time residents and vacation rentals. They have something like 11 swimming pools on property. It is directly across the street from Barefoot Landing.

Are you settled on North Myrtle? Surfside which is 10 minutes south of Myrtle Beach has the greatest array of large family home with private pools, hot tubs, etc. We have stayed there often with multiple families and the drive to Myrtle is 10 minutes - maybe 25 to N. Myrtle.
THe homes are really nice and the beach is less crowded.
