NOLA Halloween?

We're going back to New Orleans Oct 28 - Nov 1. (Yay!!!!) Can you please recommend good web sites that have information about the Halloween events? I have been looking for the date of the Bourbon Street parade and any other events. Thanks in advance!

Argeill,
Go to newOrleansonline.com or google for NOLA/Halloween. We are going as well and this website has everything listed for a howling good time!!

Thanks for the link. I've read in several places that Frenchman Street is where people go for Halloween night. In 2002 when we were in NOLA, we stayed on Bourbon Street on Halloween night. If you've been to the Frenchman Street festivities, can you please tell me about them?

Frenchmen is a great area for Halloween. I have only spent one holiday there, but am considering it for this weekend! We had gone to dinner (as Halloween is also my birthday!) and wondered over to Frenchman. Just a note - plan to dress up as we were the only ones who weren't! Any bars in that area are fun. I would recommend d.b.a., Cafe Brasil, The Spotted Cat and any others you pass by!

Thanks NOLady! I have TWO costumes for this weekend! I am SO ready and SO excited for this trip! It's our 3rd time staying in the FQ, and the first time we are making a point to check out other places beyond Bourbon Street/FQ. I've already got a list of bars to hit on Frenchman Street.
