Nobu or Le Bernadin

I'm torn guys. Please help me decide. Do either of these serve lunch?

Willy Jun 20th, 2001 07:44 PM

Le Bernadin serves lunch. I was at both restaurants last week. Both are quite good, but they serve very different cuisine.

It depends on your preference of food type, I prefer Le Bernadin.

Nobu serves lunch as well.

Nobu is the choice. It's absolutely incredible -- everything is perfect. Le Bernadin, I've been told, is somewhat hit or miss -- you can go and have a fantastic experience, or a "just okay" experience. If I'm paying that kind of money, it should be phenomenal. Nobu always is (particularly, as I recommended in another post, the "omakase" -- chef's tasting menu, which can be tailored to dietary/medical restrictions). Both places serve lunch (you should definitely book in advance, though, and if you're planning on next week, you will have a hard time because it is Restaurant Week in NY and most places are booked solid for lunch).
